POCO C40 goes global POCO's C-series offers cheap cellphones. International markets currently have POCO C40.

In recent years, POCO has released a slew of super-affordable smartphones under the C-series. The POCO C40 will now be available in global markets,

according to the manufacturer. The device was first introduced in Vietnam, but it is now available to a global audience.

It's a low-cost smartphone with an unfamiliar chipset. The target audience here is less demanding customers who require something to utilize across social networking and messaging apps.

SPECIFICATIONS FOR POCO C40 Despite the phone's low specifications, it offers a huge display. It sports a 6.71-inch diagonal and an HD+ quality LCD panel. 

The selfie camera has a waterdrop notch. A square camera module with two snappers is on the camera's back. The POCO C40 sports a 13-megapixel main and 2-megapixel depth camera.

 These aren't fancy cameras, but photography isn't the point. The phone's rear also houses a fingerprint scanner, which is a welcome comfort given that the sensor isn't being used for face unlock.

This chipset's processor isn't made by a popular chipmaker, not even Unisoc. JLQ's JR510 replaces it. The Chinese semiconductor market is growing.

 There are four 2 GHz processors and four 1.5 GHz cores on the chipset, as well as a Mali-G52. The performance appears to be comparable to the MediaTek Helio G35. 

Unisoc T606. The phone has 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage and 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. MicroSD cards expand memory.

The phone's biggest selling point is its battery life. The POCO C40 is powered by a 6,000 mAh battery that charges at 18 W.

The charging brick that comes with the phone, however, only has a 10 W output. You'll need to acquire a separate 18 W charger if you want it to charge in less than 2 hours.

Black, green, and yellow are POCO C40's colors. Company pricing varies by market. The POCO F4 5G will be one of the company's biggest moves in 2022.
